L39ION of LA takes on the infamous Unbound Gravel Race.

This past year, we followed the formidable riders that make up L39ION of Los Angeles as they work both on, and off, the bike to change the future of the sport. In the first episode at Unbound, we explore the unlikely paths Lance Haidet and Freddy Ovett have taken to find themselves on the team and how that translates into the way they approach their racing.

Unbound Gravel, formerly known as the Dirty Kanza, is one of the most premier gravel races in the world. Held once per year on the great planes of Emporia, Kansas, the race is a grueling 200 mile event. Over the years this race has become the pinacle event for gravel riding in the US. 

For Freddy and Lance, this style of racing is a completely different beast than the city crit races they are used to.
